Register to organize a side event

The programme of side events and activities organized outside the formal programme of the session of the High-Level Meeting (HLM), provides an excellent opportunity for Member States, UN entities and NGOs to discuss themes of the HLM and other critical sustainable urban development issues.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, HLM side events may take place virtually, hybrid, or in person. Each side event organizer is responsible for hosting and choosing their location, UN conference rooms, virtual event platform other events locations.

Permanent Missions, intergovernmental organizations, United Nations system entities and NGOs planning to organize HLM side events are encouraged to send the following information to UN-Habitat by e-mail to HLM2022UNHabitat@un.org by 2 April 2022
