The objective of these studies is to conduct an independent monitoring of mechanized road sweeping (MRS) operation in North Delhi, South Delhi and East Delhi Municipal Corporation area. With an objective to identify gaps and deficiencies in the existing system and suggest possible corrective actions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of operations. The MRS operation audit will help ensure that regulatory compliance is met; comparing current practices to benchmarks; generating baseline data and reviewing existing practices; establishing indicators and targets. These audits have been repeated multiple times by the Delhi municipal corporations and is the fourth such audit TERI is doing since 2018.
