This publication presents a set of data obtained in a research specifically conducted to access the knowledge of the characteristics and conditions of productive differentiation in the national urban axis. It shows the information collected and its processing and seeks to articulate the perspectives of economic actors with those of municipal officials, verifying their perceptions with data and estimates about local economic structures and metropolis.
A productive characterization of the cities is presented, including the business services offered by each environment, the perceptions and experiences of the productive entities, and the policies and actions of local governments that differentiate each of the urban agglomerations.
